New details have arisen for the 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo, with a definite improvement over the last two shows. The group in charge of what was once the Gaming Industry’s most prolific event of the year, the Entertainment Software Association, have given a date and destination for 2009’s show, on June 2nd, 3rd and 4th, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
In addition, although the event won’t be open to the general public as previously rumoured, there will be a broader range of industry members allowed access, as well as non-ESA member organizations. Generally, booth sizes will be much bigger than in the last two years.
I still have a live memory in my head of the launch trailer for final fantasy XIII and Versus XIII, that took place at the E3 2007. I can hardly wait to see what’s next, what new games are going to reveal this year.
Important news: Days before the show officially opens, GameTrailers TV will be unveiling tons of gaming goodness to the public with an hour-long pre E3 special airing on Spike TV.
